Suicide Suspected After Body Found Hanging From Tree

The death of a man found hanging from a tree today outside a Palm Springs business was being treated as an apparent suicide, police said.

Authorities were notified at 6:13 a.m. that the body was discovered in the 600 block of Vella Road, Lt. Mike Kovaleff said.

Authorities did not immediately identify the man and it was unclear what connection, if any, he may have had to any of the businesses in the area.
