Breast Cancer: Free Lectures Coming Up At Eisenhower

RANCHO MIRAGE, CA —The Eisenhower Lucy Curci Cancer Center will host several free lectures in October — recognized nationally as Breast Cancer Awareness Month — on such topics as mastectomy fitting and breast reconstruction for breast cancer patients, BRCA genes and breast cancer treatment options.

“Being diagnosed with cancer, having a loved one diagnosed with cancer or having been through treatment can be daunting," said Alison Mayer Sachs, the center's director of community outreach and cancer support services. "These lectures provide the most up-to-date information so patients and their families can make informed decisions about their health and treatment options.”
