Event Details
Join us for this family-friendly event highlighting ideas for creating beautiful, water-wise gardens and landscapes that support local wildlife and pollinators. Come learn, explore, shop for native plants for your desert garden, and hear lectures on habitat gardening, restoration at Prescott Preserve, and water conservation/current rebates. Set amidst the beautiful Sacred Grounds garden project of the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Desert, featuring butterfly and hummingbird gardens, and educational gardens with signage to encourage local gardeners to create native habitats in their own backyards.
A desert native plant sale will feature beautiful, water-saving, and pollinator friendly native plants. For flyer and more info about the California Native Plant Society Desert Native Plant Sale: chapters.cnps.org/riversidesanbernardino/plant-sale/
