Changes Coming to 2020 Commencement

Due to recent State and County social distancing mandates, and for the safety of our students, faculty and staff, College of the Desert’s May 22 Commencement Ceremony at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden has been canceled.

As an institution, we are committed to celebrating the achievements of our 2020 graduates and we are currently evaluating alternatives. The Commencement Task Force has developed a student survey and will be polling graduates to obtain their feedback and suggestions.

Once we have a plan developed, the Task Force will share these results with the greater College of the Desert community.
