College Of Desert's 2022 Graduation Ceremony Will Break Records
Commencement was held virtually in 2020 and 2021, so those classes have been invited to participate in this year's May 25 ceremony.
PALM DESERT, CA — College of the Desert officials announced this week that the campus's 2022 commencement ceremony to be held at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden will be the largest in the school's history. Record Number Of Grads Expected At COD Commencement Ceremony
During the May 25 in-person graduation, COD officials will present more than 1,600 degrees and certificates.
“We are looking forward to celebrating our graduates for their accomplishments,” said COD Superintendent/President Martha Garcia, Ed.D. “Our students have demonstrated incredible resilience and perseverance during one of the most challenging times in history, and it is our pleasure to recognize their hard work.”

Because commencement was held virtually in 2020 and 2021, those classes are invited to participate in this year’s ceremony, according to campus officials.
This year’s graduation ceremony begins at 7:30 p.m. and will be live-streamed at collegeofthedesert.edu/2022Commencement. The Indian Wells Tennis Garden is located at 78-200 Miles Ave.
