CV Job Seekers Encouraged To Receive Free Professional Attire In Palm Desert
More than 50 participating agencies and firms throughout the region will attend what officials refer as "the desert's biggest job fair."
PALM DESERT, CA — Coachella Valley job seekers seeking professional attire ahead of this year's Valley-Wide Employment Expo can receive free attire and wardrobe guidance Wednesday in Palm Desert.
The county Department of Public Social Services, in partnership with Desert Best Friend's Closet, will host the event from 10 a.m. through noon at 74040 Highway 111, Ste. F.
The attire will be provided by Desert Best Friend's Closet, a non- profit organization that provides free professional interview clothing and readiness support to those in need.

The event is part of the 31st annual employment expo, scheduled to take place from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Sept. 30 at Fantasy Springs Special Events Center, located at 84-245 Indio Springs Parkway.

In addition, job seekers will have an opportunity to attend free workshops, during which they can receive help with resumes, interview preparations and career resources. The one-hour sessions will be offered in English at 9:30 a.m. and 1:15 p.m., and in Spanish at 10:45 a.m., on Sept. 23.
