Desert Blood Services Hosting Series of Drives in Coachella Valley This Week
Donors get a coupon for two free tacos at Jack in the Box.

Desert Blood Services will hold several blood drives in the Coachella Valley this week.
The schedule:
-- Thursday, 7 a.m. to noon at the Coachella Valley Water District, 75515 Hovley Lane East, Palm Desert. Donors get a free T-shirt and a voucher for two free tacos at Jack in the Box;

-- Thursday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Kaplan College, 2475 E. Tahquitz Canyon Way, Palm Springs. Donors get a free T-shirt;
-- Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Spotlight 29 Casino, 46200 Harrison Place, Coachella;

-- Saturday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Subway, 14212 Palm Drive, Suite A-3, Desert Hot Springs; and
-- Sunday, 9:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 82-500 Bliss Ave., Indio.
Donors get a coupon for two free tacos at Jack in the Box.
All donors get free cholesterol screenings and physicals.
Healthy people at least 15 years old can give blood, but those 15 and 16 years old must provide written parental consent. Photo identification is required, and all donors should eat and be well-hydrated before arriving, according to Desert Blood Services.
