Eleni, a professor of cardiology in London has been estranged from her father Kyriakos for over fifteen years, having defied his wishes when she left Greece to relocate to the UK. Her father has never forgiven her for leaving her country. Eleni’s husband Harris loses his job in a big corporation and is posted to China indefinitely. Before embarking upon a distant journey, Eleni decides to make a return trip to her homeland to bridge the distance between her and her father.
