Tara, a young wife, is alone in a strange city after her husband suffered a serious head injury on a work trip. He lingers in a coma while doctors wait for the swelling in his brain to subside. Alone at night, she turns to the only other person in the hospital cafeteria for comfort, Shiv, who can sympathize with Tara’s situation - his own wife has been in a coma for eight months following a stroke.
