Earthquake Rattles Riverside County

BREAKING: The quake struck at 4:23 p.m.​ Did you feel it?

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA – An earthquake rattled Riverside County Thursday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The 3.5-magnitude quake struck at 4:23 p.m. The earthquake had a depth of 6.5 kilometers and its epicenter was about 13 miles east-southeast of Anza, a census-designated place in southern Riverside County.

People across Riverside and San Diego counties reported feeling the quake, according to the USGS. The quake was felt in Palm Desert, Palm Springs, Temecula, Winchester and other cities across the region.
