The acclaimed Mexican singer, songwriter, and actress will perform on Friday, June 12, with tickets going on sale February 27.
INDIO, CA — Internationally acclaimed Mexican singer, songwriter, and actress Edith Márquez is scheduled to perform at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio. The concert will take place on Friday, June 12, at 8 p.m., according to an announcement from the resort.
Tickets for the event will become available for purchase on Friday, February 27. Patrons can acquire tickets through several channels: at the Fantasy Springs Box Office, by calling 800-827-2946, or online at www.FantasySpringsResort.com. A local presale for tickets began at 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 26. Individuals interested in the presale code can receive it by texting EDITH to 30721.
Edith Márquez has maintained a career spanning more than 37 years, establishing her as a respected performer in Mexico. She began her career in television music competitions, including “Juguemos a Cantar” and “Canta, Canta.” Subsequently, she joined the pop group Timbiriche, performing with them from 1988 to 1991, according to the announcement.

"Her musical style integrates pop with ballad, bolero, and ranchera influences. Márquez started her solo career in 1998, releasing albums such as Frente a Ti, Caricias del Cielo, Extráviate, and ¿Quién Te Cantará? She is known in Mexico as the “Queen of the Palenques” and holds the distinction for the most large-scale performances in these venues.
"Throughout her career, Márquez has collaborated with a variety of artists, according to the release. These include Marco Antonio Solís, Enrique Guzmán, Banda El Recodo, David Bisbal, Pedro Fernández, Christian Castro, Julión Álvarez, and Danna Paola. She has also shared stages with Vicente Fernández and Armando Manzanero.

"In 2022, she performed over 40 shows across Mexico. The upcoming performance continues her schedule of captivating audiences," the announcement said.
