El Paseo Eateries Taking Part In Restaurant Week
Tommy Bahama, Sullivan's, Le Paon, Daily Grill, Pacifica, Mitch's, and Café des Beaux-Arts all offer three-course prix fixe dinner menus.

PALM DESERT, CA — It's almost "restaurant week" time in the Valley, and here in Palm Desert there are some great places taking part. Representatives from the El Paseo Shopping District announced this week that more than a half-dozen eateries from the group are participated in Greater Palm Springs Restaurant Week.
Restaurant week lasts 17 days, from June 1 through June 17.
Here are some of the locations on El Paseo offering deals:

- Café des Beaux-Arts ($29 per person) offers for starters Gazpacho, Vichyssoise, French Onion Soup, Caesar Salad, or Boston Lettuce and Bay Shrimp Salad; followed by choice of Chicken Marsala with Linguini and Vegetables, Red Trout Stuffed with Spinach and Mushroom, Lobster Sauce, or a Yankee Pot Roast; topped off with dessert options of Coupe des Artistes, Bread Pudding with Vanilla Ice Cream, or Crepe with Sundae.
- Tommy Bahama ($39 per person) appetizers include Coconut Shrimp, Macadamia Crusted Goat Cheese, Classic Caesar or a Bungalow Salad; with choice of entrée being Alaskan Roasted Cod, Grilled Baby Back Pork Ribs, Shrimp Fettuccini, Blue Cheese Crusted Filet Mignon Medallions, Macadamia Nut Encrusted Snapper, or Parmesan Crusted Sanibel Chicken; concluding with Coconut Pineapple Bread Pudding, Pina Colada Cake, or Chocolate Malted Pie.
- Pacifica Seafood Restaurant ($39 per person) begins with 3 Bacon Wrapped Medjool Dates, Organic Mixed Green Salad, or 3 Baked Scallops on the ½ Shell; with entrée s of Sugar Spiced Salmon, Tuscan Style Escolar, Sand Dabs, Lake Superior White Fish, or Braised Boneless Beef Short Ribs; and for dessert either Pacifica’s Ice Cream Pie or Tiramisu.
- Le Paon ($49 per person) begins with choice of Stuffed Artichoke Bottom, Salade Le Paon, or Le Paon’s Caesar Salade; followed with Filet of Sole, Veal Marsala, or Tournedos Neptune; and a Soufflé Grand Marnier.
- Mitch’s on El Paseo ($39 per person) appetizer selection includes Wild Arugula Salad, scallop ceviche, or Soup of the Day; for the entrée selection a Pan Roasted Halibut, Braised Berkshire Pork Shank, Grilled Ora King Salmon, or Coffee Rubbed Flat Iron Steak, or an additional option for $15 for a 20 ounce Bone In Ribeye; ending with Strawberry Butter Cake or Bailey’s Crème Brulee.
- Sullivan’s Steakhouse ($39 per person) starters are choice of Iceberg Lettuce Wedge, Caesar Salad, Market Fresh Greens, or Shrimp and Lobster Bisque; and for the entrée a Hand-cut Filet Mignon, New York Strip, Roasted Balsamic Chicken, or a Simply Prepared Fresh Fish; and entrée upgrades are available for an additional $20 per person for a 14 ounce Bone-in Filet or an 18 ounce Bone-in KC Strip; and the final course of New York-Style Cheesecake, Bananas Foster Bread Pudding, Ice Cream, or Sorbet.
- Daily Grill for dinner ($29 per person) presents Gazpacho, Pecan and Endive Salad, or a Shrimp Cocktail for the appetizer; choice of Tuscan Chicken, Blackened Tilapia, or Chopped Beef Steak for the entrée; and Key Lime Pie or Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich for dessert.
- Daily Gill for lunch ($15 per person) includes the same appetizers as the dinner menu, and for the entrée the selection includes Crispy Chicken Sandwich, Cold Poached Salmon, or a Short Rib Grilled Cheese.
- JC’s Café on El Paseo is offering a lunch menu for Restaurant Week for $15 per person.
