The 3rd Corner Wine Shop and Bistro located in the former Palomino Restaurant site at 73-101 Highway 111 is celebrating its first anniversary saying “Thank You” to customers with an anniversary party. One dollar beer and wine will flow and Cordon Bleu trained Chef Matt Smith will showcase his talents with complimentary light Hors d’oeuvres for the occasion. To join in the celebration stop by from 5pm to 7pm. During its first year, 3rd Corner Wine Shop & Bistro not only survived it thrived being named one of the Best New Restaurants in Palm Springs Life’s annual Dining Guide and “Best New Thing in the Desert” and “Best Wine List” in The Desert Guide. Eye on The Desert featured Chef Smith sharing one of his favorite recipes with viewers.
In one year, The 3rd Corner has established itself as the place in Palm Desert to meet for lunch, dinner, happy hour and late nite dining. Its unique wine shop has one of the most extensive collections of international wines available at prices below many local retailers.
