3rd Corner Wine Shop and Bistro Continues Summer Wine Maker Dinners with Napa’s Jocelyn Lonen Winery

The 3^rd Corner Wine Shop and Bistro, located in the former Palomino restaurant site at 73-101 Highway 111, continues celebrating summer, showcasing wines from Jocelyn Lonen Winery on August 23^rd beginning at 7pm with a champagne reception. The cost is $50 plus tax & gratuity. Reservations are required. Please call 760-837-9600. Jocelyn Lonen Winery is a small family owned winery based in the Napa Valley and dedicated to producing ultra-premium wines, including Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. Jocelyn Lonen Winery has been a complete labor of love for its founding family since its beginnings in 1996.

3^rd Corner Wine Shop & Bistro is presenting a four-course dinner paired with specially selected Jocelyn Lonen Wines.  The menu begins with a crispy soft shell crab/roasted corn, sea beans and lavender caper hollandaise paired with a Jocelyn Lonen, Chardonnay, Carneros 2008. 3^rd Corner’s signature braised lamb shank/ tomato and bean cassoulet, olive and orange walnut gemolata follows with a Jocelyn Lonen, Reserve, Cabernet Franc, Napa Valley 2006. A third course features grilled petit tender/ star anise demi glaze, tellegio cheese whipped potato and brussel sprouts. The Jocelyn Lonen, Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley 2007 is the perfect wine for this dish. The evening ends with chocolate covered strawberries.
