The 3rd Corner Wine Shop and Bistro in Palm Desert kicks off the “season” with extended hours and exciting food and wine events unique to the 3rd Corner. OpenTable, the leading restaurant reservation site recently named 3rd Corner to the “Top 50 Restaurant Wine Lists” in the United States.
Cordon Bleu trained Executive Chef Matt Smith, along with 3rd Corner’s owner, Ed Moore (who trained at the Cordon Bleu in Paris) and 3rd Corner’s wine manager and general manager have created innovative menus paired with wines from unique wineries for upcoming Winemaker Dinners. “As our second “season” begins, we are excited to work with wine makers showcasing their special wines with our innovative food,” notes Moore. “We are a casual restaurant to meet friends for a drink, enjoy lunch or dinner and then browse our wine shop’s wide selection of wines offering excellent values at competitive retail prices. We also offer discounts on cases and half cases,” adds Moore.
The popular, “Ten for Ten” Saturday afternoon wine tastings have returned to the 3rd Corner from 1pm to 3pm every Saturday starting November 12th. Wine drinkers from novice to serious can sample 3rd Corner’s wide selection of International wines at affordable prices with the “Ten for Ten” Tastings.

The 3rd Corner Wine Shop and Bistro is open seven days a week beginning on Monday, November 7th. Hours of operation are Monday – Sunday: Wine Shop 10:00am, Lunch 11:30pm - 3:00pm, Happy Hour 3:00pm - 6:00pm (bar only), and Dinner 3:00pm - 1:00am.
