3rd Corner Wine Shop & Bistro Continues Summer Sunday Three Course Food & Wine Pairing Suppers

The 3rd Corner Wine Shop and Bistro, located in the former Palomino Restaurant site at 73-101 Highway 111 will host its increasingly popular Three  Course Food & Wine Pairing on Sunday August 28,  2011 from 5-10pm. The cost is $25 for this evening event showcasing the innovative food and the international wine selections 3rd Corner offers.  The Pre-Fix menu includes a wine pairing with each course. The menu’s first course offers soup of the day or pear salad/ blue cheese and nuts with Domaine du Fresche, Moulin de la Roche, Anjou 2009. That is followed by pan roasted chicken livers/ potato puree, blue lake green bean, caramelized onion demi-glaze or grilled wild salmon/ mushroom raviolo, spinach, tomato and corn puree paired with a Windrun, Pinot Noir, Santa Barbara 2009. The evening ends with chocolate truffle cake/ creme anglaise and Mapes Cellars, Day's End, Syrah/Grenache, Temecula 2009.
