3rd Corner Wine Shop & Bistro Continues Sunday Three Course Pre-Fix Food & Wine Pairing Dinners
The 3rd Corner Wine Shop and Bistro, located in the former Palomino Restaurant site at 73-101 Highway 111 will host its increasingly popular Three Course Pre-Fix Food & Wine Pairing Dinner on Sunday October 2 from 5-10pm. The cost is $25 for an evening showcasing the innovative food and selection of international wines 3rd Corner offers. The Pre-Fix menu includes a wine pairing with each course. The evening’s begins with a choice of beet salad/ citrus, goat cheese, arugula, walnut and mustard vinaigrette or peaches, speck, arugula and shaved parmesan. That is paired with a Fillaboa, Albarino, Rias Baixas 2010. The second course is spicy sausage pasta/ roasted tomatoes and pesto cream or seafood cioppino/ grilled bread complimented by a Cameron Hughes, Meritage, California 2009. Desert is a chocolate truffle cake/ orange compote with Blandy's, Alvada, 5yr Rich Madeira.
