The 3rd Corner Wine Shop and Bistro, recently honored as having one of the “Top 50 Restaurant Wine Lists in America“ by Open Table, the country’s leading restaurant reservation site, is hosting a stand-up informal tasting with “rockstar” winemaker Paul Hobbs of Paul Hobbs Winery on February 10 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Hobbs is considered one of the finest winemakers in the industry. The tasting will be through three tiers of wine-making quality from California to South America.
Featured wines and per bottle prices for the tasting are: 2009 El Felino Chardonnay at $14.48, 2009 Crossbarb Chardonnay at $22.33, 2009 Crossbarn Pinot Noir at $31.38, 2010 El Felino Malbec at $15.69, 2008 El Felino Cabernet Sauvignon at $15.69, 2009 Crossbarn Cabernet Sauvignon at $35.50, 2008 Bramare Cabernet Sauvignon at $26.55, 2008 Bramare Malbec at $34.60 and a 2208 Napa Cabernet Sauvignon at $66.38 (normally $78.10).
