The 3rd Corner Wine Shop and Bistro, located in the former Palomino Restaurant site at 73-101 Highway 111 will host a Three Course Food & Wine Pairing on Sunday May 29th from 5-10pm. The cost is $25 for this evening event showcasing the talents of Paris Cordon Bleu trained Chef Matt Smith and the international wine selections 3rd Corner offers. The innovative menu’s first course offers a choice of soup of the day, or spinach and orange salad/ sunflower seeds paired with Planeta, La Segreta, Grecanico - Chardonnay - Viognier - Fiano, Sicily 2009. The second course features a salmon burger/ pickled red onion, whole grain mustard aioli and arugula or braised pork lasagna/ fava bean, spinach, ricotta cheese and tomato sauce paired with a Venta Morales, Tempranillo, Spain 2009. The evening ends with a buttermilk panna cotta/ strawberry syrup paired with Bieler Pere et Fils, Rose, Coteaux d' Aix-en-Provence 2010.
