The 3rd Corner Wine Shop and Bistro, located in the former Palomino Restaurant site at 73-101 Highway 111 will host a Three Course Food & Wine Pairing on Sunday, July 24th from 5-10pm. The cost is $25 for this evening event showcasing the talents of Paris Cordon Bleu trained Chef Matt Smith and the international wine selections 3rd Corner offers. The innovative menu’s first course offers a soup of the day, or parmesan cheese and truffle flatbread paired with a 2007 R&B, Serenade de Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, North Coast. This is followed by a choice of chicken cacciatore/ tomato ragύ and polenta or a lamb sausage sandwich/ spicy aioli, bell peppers, onions and mozzarella cheese, The wine served is Falesco, Sangiovese, Umbria 2007. The evening ends with cavion melon/ vanilla ice cream and a Rene Mure, Tradition, Muscat, Alsace 2007.
