The 3rd Corner Wine Shop and Bistro, located in the former Palomino Restaurant site at 73-101 Highway 111 in Palm Desert celebrates Mother’s Day with a three-course dinner including a wine pairing with each course priced at $25.00. 3rd Corner’s Paris Cordon Bleu Trained chef, Matt Smith, is creating special dinner selections. The first course features a house salad or soup of the day paired with Domaine De Fontsainte, Rosé, Corbieres 2010. This is followed by a choice of grilled ham/ mashed potatoes, sautéed garlic green bean and honey demi glaze or pan roasted trout/ fingerling potatoes, green beans, golden raisins and brown butter hollandaise paired with Windrun, Pinot Noir, Santa Barbara 2009.
