9/11 Anniversary Screening of Emmy-Award-Winning Documentary “Telling Nicholas"

To honor the tenth anniversary of 9/11, the Camelot Theatres in Palm Springs will present two exclusive screenings of the award-winning documentary, “Telling Nicholas.” There will be a matinee at 1 p.m. and a "Red Carpet" evening screening at 6 p.m.

Director James Ronald Whitney will appear at both screenings to introduce the film and moderate a question and answer session following the screening.
“Telling Nicholas”

The film documents 10 days in young Nicholas Lanza’s life; he is a boy whose mother has been killed in 9/11. The film also follows 16-year-old Thanbir Ahmed, a Muslim, whose father, a waiter at Windows On The World, died that day as well. Whitney explores the evolving friendship between these two boys from very different cultures brought together by tragedy.
