This annual picnic is held in honor of one of Palm Desert's pioneers, Ed Mullins. He was the first person to be awarded the Founders Day Award, in 1985. The picnic will be held at Palm Desert Civic Center Park, with a hamburger lunch prepared by the Keedy Kids.
