ExpressPass Simplifies, Speeds Blood Donation Process
Whole-blood donors using ExpressPass are typically at the donation site 45 minutes or less; a 25 percent or more reduction.
From LifeStream:Saving lives by donating blood with LifeStream is easier and faster than ever as summer approaches. LifeStream donors can access ExpressPass at LStream.org the day of their donation to confirm their identity, review required disclosures and fill out the donor questionnaire before arriving at the LifeStream fixed site or mobile drive.
Once the donor appears at the site, he/she needs only to show photo ID and be given the mini-physical (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, red blood cell level are checked to ensure ability to donate) before beginning the donation process. In addition to the convenience of using ExpressPass, donors through August 7 can be entered into a sweepstakes drawing to win a 2017 Harley-Davidson XL883. Donors need only give the code MHDE to LifeStream personnel upon arrival. LifeStream is a local, nonprofit blood center that provides blood products and services to
