COACHELLA VALLEY, CA — A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Desert Hot Springs, police said Saturday.The pedestrian — identified only as a woman — was hit at about 10:40 p.m. Friday on Palm Drive south of Dillon Road, according to Desert Hot Springs police.The woman who was behind the wheel of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators, police said.Authorities do not believe alcohol or drugs played a factor in the crash.

Understanding Knee Osteoarthritis
Knee osteoarthritis develops over time as cartilage deteriorates. Without this protective cushioning, bones begin to rub against each other, contributing to inflammation, pain, and stiffness.&nbsp;The condition often affects adults over 40, as well as individuals with physically demanding jobs or active lifestyles.
Common symptoms include:
