Firefighters Rescue Injured Hiker In La Quinta
The hiker was transported to a local hospital with unspecified injuries, fire officials said.
LA QUINTA, CA — Firefighters rescued a man who was injured while hiking at the Cove Oasis Trailhead in La Quinta on Friday.
Crews responded to an emergency call reported around 10:30 a.m., according to Maggie Cline De La Rosa, a spokesperson for Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.
The hiker suffered "minor traumatic injuries" and was transported by ground to a local hospital, fire officials said.
