Flash Flood Watch In Palm Desert, Storms Possible Through Sunday

The chance of thunderstorms will diminish by Sunday night.

PALM DESERT, CA — The Friday morning thunderstorms in Palm Desert could continue through Sunday, although the chance is diminishing as the weekend goes on, according to the National Weather Service.

A flash flood watch remained in effect through 7 p.m. Friday with a 40 percent chance of afternoon precipitation and daytime highs around 95, according to the NWS.

Friday night will be partly cloudy, with a low around 75.

Saturday will see a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 11 a.m. The forecast calls for mostly sunny skies, with a high near 97.
