Fred Couples, Ernie Els Commit To Rancho Mirage Golf Tourney

Jim Furyk and Steve Stricker are among other players who will be on hand for the inaugural The Galleri Classic in Rancho Mirage next month.

RANCHO MIRAGE, CA — World Golf Hall of Fame members Fred Couples and Ernie Els are among the first four players to commit to play in the inaugural The Galleri Classic, organizers of the PGA Tour Champions tournament announced Thursday.

Jim Furyk, the winner of 17 PGA Tour events and the 2021 U.S. Senior Open Championship, and Steve Stricker, a 12-time winner on both the PGA Tour and PGA Tour Champions, have also committed to play in the tournament, which will be held March 24-26 at the Mission Hills Country Club's Dinah Shore Tournament Course in Rancho Mirage.

The tournament is named after title sponsor GRAIL's multi-cancer early detection test.
