Gina Carey Films 1st Coachella Valley Independent Filmmakers & Actors Network Launch was a success!

On Monday June 6th, talented Coachella Valley's film makers, producers, directors, journalist, cinematographers, screenwriters and actors from all over the Coachella Valley, came out to show their support for the launching of the Coachella Valley's newest Film Industry gathering, The Coachella Valley Independent Filmmakers & Actors Network .

​This free assembly was held on the patio at the beautiful Eureka! Restaurant in Palm Desert, CA. and is on a fast track to becoming one of the hottest Film Industry hangouts on the 1st Monday of each month.

Amongst those in attendance were representatives from, “The Palm Springs Women in Film & The Palm Springs Screenwriters Group. Film Industry attendees were encouraged to share information about their upcoming screenings, casting calls, experience and current projects in production. As a result, new friendships were formulated and collaborative projects are in discussion.

“The Coachella Valley Independent Filmmakers & Actors Network”, is sponsored by Gico Music & Gina Carey Films and spearheaded by Gina Carey (http://www.ginacarey.net), a local international recording artist and independent filmmaker, was established in 2016. Her vision for this network group is to give local film industry reps a monthly gathering place where they could connect with other creative minded individuals, collaborate and acquire a strong support system.

This mixer will be held once a month at Eureka, 74985 Highway 111 Palm Desert, CA 92260 and is ongoing every 1st Monday of the month.
