Guest Bartenders to Raise Money for Charity at Local Brewery

The drink service might be a little slower than usual at the La Quinta Brewing Co. on Thursday, but any delay will be for a good cause.

The brewery will be hosting a guest bartending fundraiser between 4 and 7 p.m., at $2 per pint, with 100 percent of tips also going to the nonprofit Desert Cancer Foundation, according to the brewery.

A half-dozen community members will serve as the guest bartenders.

The Desert Cancer Foundation assists Coachella Valley residents who need financial help for screenings, diagnosis and treatment for cancer and associated ailments.

The brewery is located at 77917 Wildcat Drive in Palm Desert.
