Gun Shopping Television Channel Based in Thousand Palms Launches
Gun manufacturers will feature their products on air and streaming at www.guntv.tv
THOUSAND PALMS, CA- A home shopping network offering consumers a view of a variety of firearms in action debuts at 10 p.m. today.
The channel will air from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. seven times a week, but an eventual 24-hour, 7-day per week broadcast schedule is planned for the near future.

According to Valerie Castle, managing partner of GunTV, viewers will "receive in-depth, entertaining product demonstrations," allowing for an informed purchase.
Viewers will be able to order products over the phone and online, though the guns will not come directly from GunTV, but rather from a licensed firearms dealer. All prospective purchasers will be subject to background checks.

The channel will film its content at the Palm Springs Film Factory, located in Thousand Palms. GunTV's shows will feature a variety of hosts with backgrounds in law enforcement, the military, and competitive shooting.
"We are very excited to bring our new concept of shopping for firearms and accessories to live television," said Castle. "Our unique platform allows industry manufacturers to showcase products through out talented and experienced on-air hosts."
Castle also noted that "safety is our number one priority," with three minutes out of every hour of programming to be dedicated to "firearms safety public service announcements."
"GunTV offers education, information and safety regarding firearms, and we follow all local State and Federal Regulations."
