Junk or Treasure? Local Appraisers to Help You

Everyone who has watched an episode of the PBS series “Antiques Roadshow” has dreamed of finding out that the family heirloom piece of art, or that five-dollar garage sale vase, is actually worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.

You can find out for yourself when local appraisers Kevin Stewart and Howard Schepp set up at the Historical Society of Palm Desert from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on April 14.

Appointments are required and can be made by calling (760) 346-6588.

The first appraisal is free for Historical society members. Additional appraisals are $10 each.  Nonmembers will pay $10 for each appraisal.

A maximum of three items per person will be allowed.
