IE Officials Ask All Residents: If You 'See Something, Say Something'
Police agencies across the Inland Empire are asking residents to stay alert during the Iran attacks.
INLAND EMPIRE, CA — Agencies across the Inland Empire are watchful for suspicious activity amid the recent military bombing of Iran. From Palm Springs to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, residents are asked to remain watchful.
"The Palm Springs police continue to be on alert for suspicious activity throughout the city Tuesday as a safety measure" they said in a recent community advisory, alluding to the military conflict underway in Iran.
Palm Springs Officers will patrol the city and remain attentive to areas of concern, they said, for an undetermined amount of time.

"Our patrol teams and intelligence partners remain attentive to religious sites, cultural locations and other areas in the city that could draw concern, as part of our commitment to community safety," the department stated.
Police said there are no known credible threats, and they will continue to share updates if needed. They encouraged residents and visitors to be aware of their surroundings and to report "anything that seems suspicious."

Further to the west, in San Bernardino County, the sheriff's department also said it was "closely monitoring the evolving situation in the middle east."
They remain in communication with federal, state, and local partners.
"At this time, there are no known threats to San Bernardino County," Sheriff Shannon Dicus said in a released statement. "Out of an abundance of caution, we have increased patrols around places of worship, cultural centers, and other key locations across the county.
"These proactive steps reflect our continued commitment to preparedness and public safety. We also recognize that many residents have loved ones serving in the United States Armed Forces. We are grateful for their service and the sacrifices made by military families.
In an open letter to the public, all agencies remind residents, if you “see something, say something.”
If you observe suspicious or concerning activity, report it immediately to local law enforcement
