J.Mclaughlin Palm Desert Turns Shopping into Second Chances for Rescue Dogs
March 14 event proves giving back is always in style
On Saturday, March 14, J.McLaughlin Palm Desert is giving German Shepherds a second chance. The boutique is hosting a special event where every purchase helps save a dog’s life, with a portion of proceeds benefiting German Shepherd Rescue of Orange County (GSROC) to help support vet care for abandoned, injured and neglected dogs throughout Southern California and the Coachella Valley.
The upcoming event is the perfect reason to shop! Guests will enjoy wine, hors d’oeuvres, giveaways and discover J.McLaughlin’s newest arrivals all while supporting the nonprofit's life-saving work.
“Events like this remind us that compassion and community go hand and hand,” shares Maria Dales, Founder of GSROC. “This partnership helps us continue turning heartbreak into hope, giving dogs who were once forgotten a fresh start.”

Kira, GSROC’s beloved K-9 Ambassador, will be greeting guests throughout the day and for those interested in adopting a dog, digital displays will showcase four-legged companions looking for their forever homes.
“GSROC does incredible work and we’re honored to support their mission,” states Lesley Ramirez, General Manager of J.McLaughlin El Paseo. “Giving back to our community is part of who we are and this event brings people together for a cause that truly matters.”
