Seinfeld's upcoming performances mark his return to The Show following his sold-out Feb. 1, 2020 gig at the venue.

Arguably, Seinfeld is best known for playing a semi-fictionalized version of himself in the popular NBC sitcom Seinfeld, which he created and wrote with Larry David. The show aired from 1989 until 1998 and was nominated for dozens of awards. In 1993, the show won an Emmy for outstanding comedy series. A year later, the comedian won a Golden Globe Award for best comedy actor in the television category. The show also garnered three Screen Actors Guild Awards for best comedy ensemble.

Since his Seinfeld days, the comedian has jumped into numerous ventures, including film directing, guest appearances, the popular Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee streaming show, philanthropic work, writing and stand-up comedy, just to name a few projects.

Another Netflix deal (the streaming giant picked up Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee) was announced last year. Seinfeld is expected to star in, direct and produce Unfrosted, a film comedy he co-wrote with Spike Feresten and Barry Marder. The film was reportedly inspired by a joke Seinfeld told on the stand-up stage about the invention of Pop-Tarts — his style is observational comedy. Film production is reportedly moving forward.
