Josh Groban Headlines McCallum Theater Gala Fundraiser

PALM DESERT, CA—The largest fundraiser of the year was slated for Thursday night: An Intimate Evening with Josh Groban. Seats were still available for the largely sold-out 8 p.m. show.

"At the Gala, we are delighted that GRAMMY® Award-nominated singer, songwriter and actor Josh Groban will headline the evening. Groban has entertained fans across the globe with his multi-platinum albums and DVDs, electrifying live performances, and comedic film and television appearances. He is the only artist who has had two albums appear on the Top 20 Best-Selling Albums list of the past decade, and the McCallum Theatre is thrilled to have him perform for you," the McCallum Theater's website reads.

The night promises to be a "who's who" of community leaders, volunteers and supporters.

"We are very honored to pay tribute to Aubrey and Lori Serfling," a spokesperson for the theater said.

"After Aubrey retired as President and CEO of Eisenhower Medical Center after a 20-year tenure, both continued to serve may organizations in the Coachella Valley.

"Lori is on the Board of Desert Arc and also serves as Co-Chair of the Animal Samaritans Men of the Desert Fashion Show and Luncheon. Aubrey serves on the Board of the Palm Springs Film Festival and the Barbara Sinatra Center, as well as Vice Chairperson of the Board of Trustees at the McCallum Theatre."
