La Quinta Power Outage Leaves Over 100 In The Dark

LA QUINTA, CA — An outage cut power Tuesday to 124 Imperial Irrigation District customers in La Quinta.

The utility alerted the public at about 8:10 a.m. Tuesday that a power outage was affecting the area.

All power was restored to customers within an hour, according to an update from the IID. Anyone who continued to have power issues was asked to call the utility at 800-303-7756.

The cause of the outage was not immediately clear.

The IID provides electricity to more than 150,000 customers in parts of Riverside and San Diego counties, as well as all of Imperial County.
