Lane Closure To Disrupt Palm Desert Monday Morning Traffic

Crews will remove and repair damaged sidewalk panels, which will be addressed in 10 locations along the east side of the roadway.

PALM DESERT, CA — A lane closure along Cook Street in Palm Desert will be implemented starting Monday for sidewalk repairs, officials announced Friday.

The repairs will be held from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. from Monday through Thursday, Feb. 12 daily.

Crews will remove and repair damaged sidewalk panels, which will be addressed in 10 locations along the east side of the roadway.

The No. 2 northbound lane will be closed on Cook Street between Market Place and Frank Sinatra Drive, and motorists are encouraged to allow for extra travel time and drive with caution when traveling through the area, officials said.
