Local Student to Study in China
James Cutchin was selected for a scholarship abroad by the Department of State
A Palm Desert high graduate now studying at the University of Mississippi is taking his studies even further abroad.
James Cutchin is one of 630 Americans taking part in this summer's U.S. Department of State's Critical Language Scholarship Program. Cutchin will be spending the summer learning Chinese at the Beijing Language and Culture University.
