Mark Hughes Named Desert District Manager for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage

Mark Hughes has been named desert district manager for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage and manager of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s Palm Desert office. The desert district manager is a newly created position that will oversee Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s operations and growth in the Coachella Valley.

Prior to joining Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Hughes was the president of Southern California for Windermere Services. He also worked as chief operating officer at First Team Real Estate for many years, was a past Sotheby’s International Realty affiliate owner and managing broker, and a Re/Max International Hall of Famer. During his real estate sales career and for more than two decades, Hughes has accumulated comprehensive luxury sales and marketing success with a track record of delivering multi-million dollar results.

Hughes is also an accomplished real estate speaker, author, media talent and former HGTV National Open House host. He authored the popular industry book and workshop series, “Branded Agent.” He is a skilled sales strategist with a keen understanding of branding and marketing techniques that attract real buyers and accelerate sales. He is adept at leveraging analytical and industry talents to develop and execute tactical plans that deliver unparalleled competitive performance, increased customers and international awareness. Hughes maintains a strong industry voice, remains an industry innovator and is best known for his engaging drive and tenacity. He holds multiple broker’s licenses and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia.
