Minister to be Ordained as a Deacon at St. Margaret's

Shivaun Wilkinson will be ordained as a Deacon in the Episcopal Church on Saturday.

The ceremony will take place at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church, with the Rt. Rev. James R. Mathes, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of San Diego officiating.

Wiklinson (then Shivaun Nelson) came to St. Margaret's in 2005 as a Children, Youth and Families Minister. In the Fall of 2009, she was sent east to study at Virginia Theological School.

Ceremonies begin at 11:00 a.m. St. Margaret's is located at 47535 Highway 111 in Palm Desert.
