Minor Arrested After Shooting Injures 2 In Riverside County: Police
The two people injured were taken to a local hospital.
BLYTHE, CA — A juvenile has been arrested for allegedly shooting at an occupied vehicle in Blythe, injuring two people, authorities said.
Officers responded to reports of shots fired near Quail Place Apartments at 551 S. Third St. on May 24, according to the Blythe Police Department.
Arriving officers allegedly witnessed a vehicle flee the scene at a high rate of speed. Officers caught up to the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop, where they said they discovered several witnesses and a "gunshot victim" inside the vehicle.

The injured individual and another injured victim were taken to a local hospital.
A preliminary investigation revealed that "multiple suspects were identified" in the shooting of a vehicle driving through the apartment complex. Authorities arrested a local juvenile on suspicion of attempted homicide.

The motive behind the shooting was not immediately available.
