Mizell Hosting Employment Workshop For Seniors

The Mizell Senior Center will host a free employment workshop Wednesday for people 55 and older.

The two-hour seminar, which begins at 9 a.m., is being presented by the Riverside County Office on Aging. The theme is “How to Obtain Job Interviews & Gain a Position in Our Desert Economy,” according to Mizell spokesman Jack Newby.

Topics will include developing a local job action plan, how to take inventory of one’s skills, resume writing, interview strategies and using the Internet, Newby said.
