INDIO, CA — Indio officials Tuesday said an annual street paving project, slated to begin Wednesday, will prompt delays for residents and motorists on Monroe Street.
Work will take place between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday on Monroe Street from Avenue 48 to Avenue 52. It is expected to conclude on Jan. 15.
The road work will involve grinding out the top layers of asphalt and applying a new layer of fresh asphalt to improve driving conditions.
