National LGBT Business Conference to be Held in Palm Desert

PALM DESERT, CA - More than 1,000 business owners and entrepreneurs from the world's LGBT communities will convene Tuesday at a Palm Desert resort for the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce International Business & Leadership Conference.

The sold-out, four-day event will explore business strategies and the latest trends affecting LGBT business owners seeking to expand and thrive.

Conference topics include: managing opportunities for local LGBT chambers of commerce; LGBT-friendly hiring practices, including transgender inclusivity; marketing; corporate partnership; LGBT tourism; and international growth.

The event will also include the Affiliate Chamber Awards, recognizing chambers' efforts to empower LGBT business owners, and a live performance by singer-songwriter Melissa Etheridge.
