Firmly committed to sustainability in all areas, Renova Solar has installed a charge for electric vehicles in front of their primary office location at the GreenZone, the first in the Valley that is powered entirely by dedicated solar panels.

“We want to contribute to the availability of electric car chargers in the Coachella Valley,” explained Renova CEO/President Vincent Battaglia. “We use it for the electric vehicles we have, and are happy to make it available at no charge to our employees who drive electric cars, as well as the public at large. And what better way to provide power for an electric car than with solar?”
The charger is powered from a portion of the solar array installed on the roof at Renova Solar, which also provides the majority of the electricity utilized by the company.
“Our electric usage is minimal because we have more than 75 solar tubes that provide natural light throughout our building. That, along with our swamp coolers and upgraded insulation, helps us keep a small footprint in the consumption of fossil fuels, as we believe everyone should strive to do.”
