Nordstrom Rack Opens in Palm Desert This Week
The store will open to the public on Thursday.
Nearly two years after it was first announced, a Nordstrom Rack will officially open for business in Palm Desert on Thursday.
The 34,000-square-foot store, located at 44449 Town Center Way, will open at a special time of 9 a.m., and will carry clearance merchandise from Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom.com, as well as items purchased specially for Nordstrom Rack, representatives tell Patch.
Some "pre-opening festivities" will be held at 8 a.m.
"Customers can enter for a chance to win one of (30) $100 gift cards – plus, one lucky winner will receive a $1,000 shopping spree and early access through our Rule the Rack sweepstakes," a press announcement for the grand opening said.
Once inside, Nordstrom Rack representatives say shoppers can expect to find:
- Discounted brand-name apparel, shoes, accessories
- Over 2,000 men’s ties
- Premium denim for men, women, and kids
- Over 1,000 handbags
- Cosmetics
- On-site alterations
- Thousands of pairs of shoes
- Mobile check-out devices
