
PALM DESERT, CA — Following weeks of closure due to coronavirus, Nordstrom Rack in Palm Desert reopened to customers on Thursday.
"We are excited to bring our employees back to work and look forward to welcoming customers in our doors so we can continue serving them in our stores," said Karin Muskopf, Nordstrom corporate communications.
Updated safety protocols aimed at preventing COVID-19 spread have been implemented.

At Nordstrom Rack, shoppers can expect health screenings for employees, face coverings for employees and customers, social distancing of six feet or more (including limiting the number of employees and customers in the stores), increased cleaning and sanitization, modified fitting rooms, continued curbside service, keeping tried on/returned merchandise off sales floors for a period of time, altered store hours, and adding dividers at check-out registers, according to the company
The store's reopening was based on guidance and directives from state health officials.

Nordstrom Rack is located at Town Center Square Shopping Center, 44449 Town Center Way.
