Parking near Civic Center Park will be accessible from the Fred Waring Drive entrance until that parking lot is full. According to the city, that lot will fill up as early as 5:30 and 6 p.m. Tuesday.
"During these closures, motorists must use alternate routes," Soule said.
All motorists near Civic Center Park on July 4 are asked to drive cautiously and watch for pedestrians.
