Palm Desert Intersection To Go Dark For 3 Weeks

PALM DESERT, CA — Traffic signals at El Paseo and San Luis Rey Avenue will be dark for approximately three weeks starting Monday, May 4, the City of Palm Desert announced.

Crews are replacing traffic signal equipment at the busy intersection. Until the work is completed, the intersection will function as a four-way stop with temporary stop signs in place, according to the city.

Delays are possible and motorists are encouraged to allow extra time or use alternate routes.
